Don't Miss the NREE on September 11

The 8th Annual National Radial Engine Exhibition will take place at the Colorado Plains Regional Airport on Saturday, September 11. Gates open at 7:30 a.m.
Admission is five dollars for adults and one dollar for kids 12 and under.
The show opens with a 5K Fun Run/Walk that will begin and end on the airport property this year. Registration forms are available on-line at www.nree.net.
The car show that has always been a popular part of the show has been greatly expanded this year. Registration forms and information are also available on-line at www.nree.net.
Features of this year's show include
the return of crowd-favorite aerobatic pilot Don Nelson and his Russian Sukhoi;
an appearance by Gary Rower in his amazing Stearman;
Kyle Franklin's always-entertaining Pirates of the Sky aerobatic act;
Kyle's wife, the gravity-defying wing walker Amanda Franklin;
the United States Air Force's F-16 Demo team, an act that brings goose bumps to everyone who sees their performances;
a heart-pounding, movie-quality World War II re-enactment that will close the show, featuring pyrotechnics and dozens of re-enactors and their weapons and equipment.
A wonderful ground display of radial engine aircraft allows the crowd to get up close to these amazing machines. Veterans will be feted at a tent dedicated to them, and a portion of the proceeds from the show go to CONEKA, an organization that provides services to veterans in Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas.
Kids Space is always a popular feature of the show, teaching children about the joys and wonders of flight while constructing craft projects. Flight simulators will also be on the grounds.
Stroll through our many vendor booths, offering food and drink, aviation-related items, and much more.
